How to Create a Home without Breaking the Bank

Believe it or not it is possible to dream your home into existence. We create in our minds! It does not start with how much money you have in your bank, although that that is the most popular belief in this world we live in.

In November 2018, my family and I found ourselves in a situation where we had to move out of our family home and start again in rented accommodation with very little money. I believe that when your back is against the wall and you feel you have no hope and you are like many people today, just existing, working to pay the bills, you can very swiftly turn your situation around.

It starts with gratitude!

Everyday I would wake up grateful for what I still had, and we did this as a family, for the next three years, using my mind, daydreaming of how I wanted our home to look. I have always been a very creative person and I wasn’t going to let the lack of money prevent me from making my home peaceful, bright, calm and colorful for myself, my husband and our three children.

The magnificent thing about gratitude, is that it overwhelms your heart, which is the perfect starting point for manifestation. Without the darkness there is no light, without suffering and pain, you will not get to experience the intense feeling of pleasure. That is why although we dream of things never going wrong in our lives and living happily ever after, that is not actually how the universe works! without the night there is no day, without rain nothing grows and this is something we must be realistic about when we navigate through life. we need the contrast between good and bad, light and darkness to manifest.

We had very few possessions when we moved out, we had sold all our lovely furniture and had to downsize twice, so I trawled through selling sites and found bargains everywhere, I would literally daydream and visualize which furniture I wanted and where they would go in the rooms and then as if by magic they would appear as I had created them in my mind, on selling sites at a price I could afford. I felt like Matilda!!! This was the catalyst for abundance and it wasn’t long before our home was bright, beautiful and filled with plants, pictures, artwork and music. I cannot stress enough how this rocked my belief system. I no longer felt powerless and a failure, I felt calm, happy and so very very grateful.

Whether you have a belief in God or if you believe in the universe or not, it is a fact that we are magnets, and what we put out into the world is what we attract back to us. it is the LAW of the universe. We are all the master of our own destiny. I would say to everyone reading this don’t focus your mind on the negative limiting beliefs that you have grown up with, believe that your mind is so powerful that it can literally create, not just your home and your surroundings, but literally your future!!

I am in the process of completing my book which is my life story, and has brought me to the point where I feel compelled to help other people who have been broken down and made to feel completely powerless.

I hope to share it with you all when I release it shortly. It is a story that will inspire and give hope to everyone.
